Converse Water Repellent ‘East Village Explorer’ Chuck Taylors Are Built For Wet, Wintry Conditions
These rugged All-Star sneakerboots are ready for anything.
Converse is beefing up its weatherproof arsenal with the new East Village Explorer collection featuring two models: the Bosey MC High Top Sneakerboot and the Chuck 70 Bosey High Top Sneakerboot.
Both weather-busting kicks are upgraded versions of the Chuck Taylor All-Star ’70, made tough against inclement weather with elements like a rugged outsole tread, water-repellent materials, and a durable construction inspired by the 1950s Bosey wading boot.
They also have a warm lining to add an extra layer of warmth for those cold winter days, as well as a comfortable padded ortholite insole.
The Bosey MC High Top comes in the “Surplus Olive” colorway and has a green canvas upper, thick white midsole, black rubber outsole, and bright orange laces.
The Chuck 70 Bosey High Top comes in a “Birch Bark” colorway with an off-white leather upper, yellow accents and hiking laces, and Bosey’s signature ridged rubber sole in black.
Both styles retail for $100 and you can cop them right here.
