IWC Limited Edition ‘Blue Angels’ Pilot’s Watch Honors Elite Navy Flight Squad

United States Navy pilots rarely get more skilled than members of the Blue Angels, the Navy’s elite flight demonstration squadron. To honor that legacy of precision, professionalism and daring, IWC has created a limited-edition Pilot’s Watch Chronograph. 

IWC is an official Blue Angels licensee, so they have a lot to live up to in this timepiece‘s design, and they went for it.

The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph has been created with materials uncommon to watchmaking—a 44.5mm polished black zirconium ceramic case that contains a blue and yellow dial to honor the flight team’s color scheme. 

The Blue Angels watch is powered by an 89361 chronograph movement exclusive to IWC and it has a respectable 68-hour power reserve (nearly three days). The iron interior cage provides magnetic resistance and it is water-resistant to 60 meters.
