Jack Daniel’s Serves Up a Whiskey-Inspired Nike Air Force 1

Who wouldn’t want to sit down with the NBA All-Stars on the tube and some sweet Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey whiskey? Sounds like the ideal way to watch all the big names in the game tear it up on the court. 

NBA partner Jack Daniel’s realized that the NBA’s All-Star weekend—it kicks off on February 15th—would be a perfect opportunity to create unique Nike kicks with Air Force 1 inspiration and a classic Jack Daniel’s vibe. 

The Shoe Surgeon created 67 pairs of these and they have Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey flavor in every element. Combined, those elements make for true luxury wear. 

Each pair is single-stitched like fine Italian craft shoes. They also have a reduced number of panels, making for a rare combination of elegant simplicity and killer street style. 

Materials were chosen with meticulous care, and they include the following:

—Gold metal eyelets, leather laces, and Vachetta tan leather accents, all in honor of Tennessee Honey.  

—Super premium/craft Black Horween leather, which reflects the care and attention Jack Daniel’s uses to make their whiskey.

—Distressed dark brown leather with deep russet undertones—leather that will age just like fine whiskey takes on richer flavors during Jack’s barrel aging process.

If you’re in Los Angeles on February 17 and 18, roll through the Lynchburg General Store pop-up at 903 W. Olympic Boulevard between 10 and 11 a.m. You’ll have a chance to win a pair and taste the flavor of Jack Daniel’s ancestral Tennessee home.
