Kylie Jenner’s KHY & Frankies Bikinis Team Up Again for ‘Fever Dream’ Swimwear Collection
Modeled and co-designed by Jenner and Francesca Aiello, the second Frankies Bikinis x KHY drop features tiny two-pieces inspired by their LA lifestyle.
Kylie Jenner’s KHY apparel brand and swimwear powerhouse Frankies Bikinis are joining forces once again for their second collaborative collection, “Fever Dream,” that just launched with an alluring swimsuit shoot.
Co-designed and modeled by Jenner and Frankies Bikinis founder Francesca Aiello, the line of tiny two-pieces serves as veritable a love letter to Los Angeles. The new campaign aims to celebrate LA’s sultry vibe by channeling classic Old Hollywood glamour and Jenner’s signature bombshell style.
The inspiration for the swimsuits came directly from both entrepreneurs’ personal wardrobes, according to a statement by the swimwear brand. Aiello and Jenner pulled their favorite body-flattering pieces from their own closets to craft the new looks. Designed to transition from a sun-drenched day on a Malibu beach to a late night at the iconic Chateau Marmont, the pieces are plainly inspired by Southern California’s outdoorsy culture.
“For our newest collection, Kylie and I were inspired by a love for our hometown of Los Angeles,” said Aiello, Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Frankies Bikinis. “From the beach to the hills, this city is filled with so much beauty and history. We went through our personal closets to find vintage pieces that felt as unique and sexy as the city itself, while also fitting in with our first collaboration. What we ended up with was a collection filled with bold patterns, fun accents, and bombshell forms.”
The Fever Dream collection brings back Frankies Bikinis’ signature Cloud Cups in the Cherish and Camila tops, delivering a classic shape inspired by the style of early Hollywood starlets. The design details offer a mix of ultra-feminine accents and modern edge, like a vintage-inspired leopard print paired with a metallic contrast trim.
The head-turning looks are grounded in brand favorites, including classic cheeky bikini bottoms and stringy triangle tops. The colorways and patterns range from camo to chrome, leopard to cobra, and vibrant pink to classic black, creating a collection as colorful as the city it’s inspired by.
To introduce the collection, photographer and director Daniel Sachon, alongside cinematographer Ben Carey, captured a dreamy campaign film. Shot through a distinctly voyeuristic lens, the campaign steals fleeting moments from afar, through windows and in mirror reflections, to play with the illusion of a hidden observer.
Set against a stylish mid-century home in the Hollywood Hills, the captivating short film follows Jenner through a hazy morning routine before she lounges poolside. The energy shifts as Aiello joins her, with the stunning designers snapping candid photos of each other.
