Looks We Love: Chapter
In this continuing series, the style gurus at Deux Hommes share their thoughts on the season’s hottest labels for men.
With a collection grounded in simplicity, modernism and function, it’s no wonder that Chapter has a cult following. Based out of Costa Mesa, California, the label is known for minimal and sleek garments with a focused overall appeal.
Chapter Creative Director Devin Carlson’s Spring 2015 collection, titled Labyrinth, incorporates architectural design cues that inspire feelings of function through constriction. Straps, rope suspenders, zippers and adjustable inseams all make an appearance, as do angular panels, offering a new take on a classic silhouette. Fear not: oversized t-shirts and simple vest tops are all available (and at a great price), as part of the label’s “basics-with-a-twist”’ theme. Clean lines that embody both casual and fitted silhouettes make Chapter a go-to for any guy who wants to give his wardrobe a bit of an unexpected upgrade.
