This Curved Cabin Has Fully Retractable Panoramic Windows to Get Closer to Nature

The LumiPod cabin is the ultimate way to experience the great outdoors.

The LumiPod from French company Lumicene is a compact luxe cabin that can be assembled anywhere, and brings you closer to nature with massive panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom. 

The LumiPod’s entire front is constructed of a large, curved glass window constructed of six panels that can open up to fully immerse you in nature.

“Closed, LumiPod is a comfortable cocoon but fully immersed in nature,” the website describes. “In a single gesture, LumiPod eliminates the boundary between interior and exterior for an unforgettable experience.”

Wooden floors, plywood cladding on the walls and ceiling, and the exterior can be customized to fit your specific environment for a stunning natural vibe.

The pod is 10 feet tall and 18 feet wide, and inside is a wardrobe, bathroom with a shower and toilet, and bed to admire the surrounding environment from.

The curved exterior wall has 15cm of rockwool and a protective rain sheeting, and the roof and floor are insulated with 5cm of polystyrene and 20cm of rockwool.

Each pod is manufactured in Lyon, France in 2 to 4 months, and take only two days to assemble.
