Matthew McConaughey Teams With Air Jordan For a Good Cause
Who knew the Oscar winner was such a sneakerhead?
Even sneakerheads are benefiting from Hollywood’s ongoing McConaissance.
In tandem with the release of his new animated film Kubo and the Two Strings, Matthew McConaughey joined with Nike for two new Air Jordans inspired by the Samurai warrior kid’s flick.
The sneakers, with a dragon detail on the tongue, are available in two colorways: black and blue, and black and red.
Regrettably, they’re not designed by the Oscar-winning good ol’ boy but rather legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield.
220 pairs are currently up for grabs on eBay. Proceeds go to the actor’s just keep livin Foundation, which funds after-school fitness and wellness programs for inner-city teenagers.
