New Balance Debuts Luxe Leather and Metal Take on ‘Made in USA 997’ Sneaker

New Balance is elevating its classic Made in the USA 997 silhouette with full-grain black pebbled leather and a metallic “N” logo for an eye-catching, modern twist on the ’90s-era favorite. 

These upscale sneakers also feature the brand’s ENCAP midsole technology for superior support and durability, EVA foam midsoles and heels for extra cushioning, and grippy rubber outsoles.

The signature “N” branding is made with actual metal and outlined with copper-colored trimming for contrast. The black laces and black rubber outsole complete the upgraded aesthetic, which should definitely turn more heads than the usual 997s do.
