Menswear guru Todd Snyder has dropped another cool limited-edition sneaker with his longtime collaborators at New Balance.

The new “Stony Beach” sneaker collab blends vachetta and ivory leather with three different types of suede to evoke the sand, surf and rocks meant to channel an overcast fall day in a Long Island beach town. The brown and white design scheme also features a clay-colored sole “reminiscent of the red cobblestone paths” one might encounter in such a town.

The silhouette of the sneaker is the 57/40, New Balance’s recent homage to their classic 574. Originally designed in 1988 as an experiment combining a road and trail running shoe, the 574 started as a go-anywhere runner and went on to become New Balance’s iconic everyday sneaker.

The light brown and off-white palette is a mash-up of vegetable-tanned, natural-looking leather plus hairy suede, clean suede, and perforated suede.

“We had seen great success with both our New Balance ‘Pale Ale’ and ‘Dark Ale’ sneaker collaborations, and when we started thinking about a third installment in this hoppy trilogy, my mind wandered to that special feeling of being out on Eastern Long Island after the summer season has long passed,” said Snyder in a statement announcing his latest collab.

Only 750 units of the sneaker were produced, and they retail for $160. They will be available at Todd Snyder’s Madison Park flagship, East Hampton store or on toddsnyder.com starting at 11 a.m. EST on November 4th.

The shoe also boasts its very own IPA to enjoy after you lace up these special-edition kicks. Greenport Harbor Brewing Company on Long Island’s North Fork has created a special Stony Beach Hazy IPA in honor of the launch with a “crisp, pilsner-like finish with exotic fruit notes and a low ABV.” Bottoms up.
