Nike Unveils A-COLD-WALL* Air Force 1 Low
The environmentally conscious kicks are made from sustainable, recycled Flyleather.
For Nike’s latest collaboration with A-COLD-WALL*, two new colorways of the Air Force 1 low are being released, made with Nike’s new Flyleather material – using at least 50 percent recycled leather fiber.
The Nike x A-COLD-WALL* Air Force 1 comes in a white colorway and a black colorway, both constructed with a Flyleather upper, canvas tongue with A-COLD-WALL* detailing, and grey paneling on the heel.
When the two brands first teamed up last fall, the collaboration was sold in just 10 stocklists, but now that number has grown to 130 as A-COLD-WALL* is gaining popularity.
And as sales increase, founder and designer Samuel Ross is making a statement and bringing awareness to the importance of creating eco-friendly footwear.
“Flyleather is a vessel to refine an idea that was already quite strong,” Ross says. “The technology behind it is also connected to the progression of my design practice, my label and, of course, my work on the Air Force.”

“To produce a shoe that carries a sustainable narrative and talks to modern issues is a big thing.”
The Nike x A-COLD-WALL* Air Force 1 already dropped in Shanghai on December 9th, and will be available for everyone else December 21.
