Nike Teams With Travis Scott For Bandanna-Print Dunk Low Sneakers
The eye-popping kicks were first teased in Scott’s “Jackboys” video.
Nike SB, the athleticwear behemoth’s skater-centric line, has joined forces with “Sicko Mode” rapper Travis Scott to create a unique new colorway for the Dunk Low.
Eagle-eyed sneakerheads caught the first glimpse of the coveted kicks on Scott’s feet in the dimly-lit music video for “Jackboys,” but Stadium Goods has secured a slew of images that offer a closer look at its bandanna-like details.
Dark navy blue paisley panels along the heel and forefoot contrast with the plaid pattern found on the mid-panel and perforated khaki toe, while dusty pink and black Swooshes adorn opposite sides of the upper.
Scott went with extra wide white rope laces and to complement his signature “Cactus Jack” record label branding on the tongue. A white midsole and tan-colored outsole complete the look.
While this is Scott’s first collaboration with Nike SB, he’s previously worked with the brand on a number of other iconic silhouettes, including the Air Jordan 1 High OG and Air Force 1 Low, which featured reversed and detachable “Swoosh” logos, respectively.
As for the Nike SB Dunk Low “Travis Scott,” it’s listed on Stadium Goods’ website with a February 29 release date and a sky-high $1,805 price tag.
If you’re lucky enough to cop a pair, perhaps consider riding with less expensive footwear while practicing kickflips and crooked grinds.
