Outfitted: Josh Dallas
There’s nothing more charming than the prince himself.
Josh Dallas always knew acting was in his blood. The Kentucky native shipped off to England after receiving a scholarship to the Mountview Conservatoire for the Performing Arts at the ripe age of 16. With all of his knowledge and training, it was there that Josh landed himself an acting job with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and continued on at several other world renowned theater companies. The handsome thespian combined his stage talents and his desirable ‘charm’ to land the role of Prince Charming on ABC’s hit series, “Once Upon A Time”, opposite his wife, Ginnifer Goodwin (who he met on set). If you ever need dating advice, he’s your go-to guy.
Josh filled Maxim in on what every guy should own, his most prized possession, and why British accents make everything better.
My favorite curse word has to be C%^T but ONLY in a British accent. Why? Because it can be used as a term of endearment or derogatorily. Its multi-layered.
I’m a Kentucky man. Bourbon, Colonel E.H. Taylor Single Barrel all the way.
As a teenager, I wore stonewash jeans and a button down with Doc Martens and a hemp necklace, for sure. I try to dress like a gentleman most of the time now.
Every man should own a good pair of boots. Like Shoto or Guidi or Berluti. Red Wing boots are great too.
Never try too hard to impress a woman on the first date. Wear a nice button down. A.P.C and JCrew button downs are great.
I always have on my silver Tiffany’s Dog Tag with my son’s initials and DOB inscribed on it. I never take it off.
I’m not a very hairy dude. So I don’t have much of a grooming regime. If I was hairy… I’d let it be.
LANCER Skincare Products are really great for guys.
The beautiful Ginnifer Goodwin Dallas should be on top of the Maxim Hot 100.
As for what’s next, hopefully the next season of “Once Upon A Time”. If so, that will start in shooting in July.
