The Rock Just Joined Forces With Under Armour
Not gonna say we saw this one coming.
Did you smell what The Rock was cooking? Did you? Probably not.
Apparently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been cooking up a partnership with athletic apparel company Under Armour that was announced today. No doubt spurred by his prowess in the wrestling ring, and possibly even his caring nature outside of it, it’s not too shabby a partnership for the grappler-turned-action star.
With The Rock having just returned to WWE’s Raw, his fans will be pleased to know that his first capsule collection (simply a backpack and duffel bag) will launch in the next few weeks reports WWD.
The launch, entitled “DJ INSPIRED SERIES” will come alongside videos and other content pulled from Johnson’s fitness regimen for UA’s Connected Fitness program. Connected Fitness is a fitness-focused social network that the company has been pushing.

After the duffel and backpack, expect rash guards timed around the release of Baywatch, in which The Rock appears, as well as gear connected to Fast & Furious 8.
In addition to that partnership, Johnson will help promote UA Freedom, a project aimed at honoring and supporting America’s troops, first responders and public safety officers. It’s definitely a lot to take on but we’re sure it’s nothing for the People’s Champ.
