Buddy comedies are getting a major update with the upcoming “Hot Pursuit.” More specifically, we’re getting plenty of screen-time with Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon. The former plays a witness who’s going to testify against a cartel, the latter plays a cop with a charmingly overdone Southern accent who’s tasked to protect her. Things go wrong and the two are forced to go on the run — and being on the lam has never looked so good.
