Amanda Bynes Finally Resurfaces, Reveals She’s Three Years Sober and Returning to Acting

Amanda Bynes‘s days of reckless driving and lurid tweeting are behind her. 

The former Nickelodeon star and Maxim cover girl spoke sat down with Hollyscoop for her first interview in four years. Speaking with host Diana Madison, a fresh-faced and healthy-looking Bynes revealed she has been sober for three years.

“I hike, I go spinning — take spinning classes — and I feed the homeless,” the 31 year old said of her sober lifestyle. “I’ve been going to school lately—fashion school, FIDM, and I love it. I’ve learned how to sew, I make patterns, and I want to start a clothing line in the future.”

That said, her days in the spotlight aren’t over. “I am going to start acting again,” Bynes revealed.

“I wanna do TV—maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of, and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it.”

Bynes cites marijuana use as the chief cause of her bizarre behavior from 2012 to 2014. Now that she’s sworn off the stuff for good, we expect a swift return to the limelight.
