Ageless modeling legend Christie Brinkley may have made history when she and her daughters Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Brinkley Cook posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue together. With her own solo session dropped in a video earlier this week, Sailor has proven she’s ready to slip out of her mom’s loving shadow.
Sailor is 19 and clearly a chip off Christie’s block. At different angles she could be a clone of her mother circa Christie’s first appearance in the SI Swimsuit edition in 1979. But this video nicely captures a certain intensity in Sailor that sets her apart from her mom’s sunny California girl vibe. It’s clear that Sailor Brinkley Cook is coming into her own.
