Did St. Patrick Save Danica Patrick From Friday’s NASCAR Wreck?
If you’re hating St. Patrick this morning, this should make you feel better.
Maxim favorite Danica Patrick had a potentially nasty collision on Friday morning while in a practice session for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, bouncing off the wall coming out of the second turn and ramming Parker Kligerman before spinning out.
Fortunately, the 31-year-old driver was unhurt, and managed to finish the session in her backup car. So to what did she attribute her lucky escape? Her iron nerves? Her professional team? Her well-maintained car? Nope – she says it’s all about the luck of the Irish.
