When the video for George Michael’s pop anthem “Freedom! ’90” debuted back in, duh, 1990, it made a big splash for a couple of reasons. The singer didn’t make an appearance, and it instead featured some of the biggest supermodels of the era miming the lyrics, including Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell, all of whom were featured on the famous 1990 Vogue cover that served as inspiration for the video. 

As a tribute to the now iconic original, Vogue staff has remade the video with some of today’s hottest supermodels. Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Anna Ewers, Irina Shayk and Taylor Hill are just a few of the gorgeous women you might recognize strutting through the streets of New York City  in this fitting homage to Michael’s groundbreaking clip.
