Emma, niece to Julia Roberts and daughter of Eric Roberts, got her foothold in the industry at the ripe old age of 13, starring on the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous. From there, she appeared in a string of tween-geared capers, like Nancy Drew and Hotel for Dogs, in addition to an impressive array of indie flicks, like It's Kind of a Funny Story, The Art of Getting By and Palo Alto.
But it was upon meeting showrunner Ryan Murphy that her career kicked into high gear. He cast her as the wickedly bratty Madison Montgomery in American Horror Story: Coven, which paved the path for her best character bar none, the privileged and profanity-spewing sorority girl Chanel Oberlin on Scream Queens.
