The actress knows where to get her protein.
Salma Hayek is evidently an adherent of the crickets-as-protein trend that’s currently sweeping the health food market. But she doesn’t take her bugs ground up into flour or baked into a protein bar — rather, she places them delicately on her tongue and eats ‘em whole.
The actress treated us to an up-close-and-personal view of her cricket consumption in an Instagram post from a few days ago, in which she ingests an insect straight from Oaxaca.
Oh, to be that cricket.
