New Book Features Never-Published Photos Of An Undiscovered Kate Moss
Photographer Mario Sorrenti captured intimate shots of the future supermodel when they dated in the 1990s.
In the early 1990s, before Kate Moss became one of the most famous models of all time, her then-boyfriend, Italian fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti, took a series of intimate (and occasionally NSFW) portraits.
Now, decades after the photos were taken, Sorrenti is releasing a striking photo book called Kate which features 50 of those moody portraits—many of which have never been seen before—and according to the publisher Phaidon, these are the very photos that inspired Calvin Klein to create “the famous Obsession campaign, which launched Moss to international superstardom.”
“I remember sitting next to her and feeling like my heart was going to stop; her beauty overwhelmed me,” Sorrenti recalls in the book’s introductory text.
You can get the signed edition of the book for $100 right here.
But since you can never have enough Kate Moss, check out some stunning photos of the British beauty after she made it big. You’re welcome.
