Demi Lovato Is Ready to Show the World Some Skin

Check out these stunning photos from the pop star’s photo shoot.

It’s time the world gave Demi Lovato a huge apology—not for deriding her about that “I like mugs” mishap—but for making her feel like anything less than the powerful, dynamic young woman she is.

Take a look at these photos from her Vanity Fair photo shoot, and try to convince us she hasn’t got the best derrière in the biz.

The striking, un-retouched photos feature Lovato sans makeup and without a stitch of clothing. They bear a potent message echoed by words from her somber Vanity Fair video interview, “I would have never thought that I would have ever gotten to a place in my life where I could feel comfortable doing that. It’s empowering, and it shows other women that you can get to a place where you can overcome the obstacles of body-image issues.”

Lovato has been open about struggles with eating disorders in the past. Now it seems she’ll be opening up even more about overcoming them. Reflecting the sentiment of her hit album Confident, Lovato said in the video, “I learned that you can get to a place where you love the skin you’re in, and I’m excited to share that with the world.”

We’re excited too.

Very excited.
