The song is “Despacito,” it features the astonishingly beautiful 2006 Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera and a contagiously danceable beat, and it’s also become the most-viewed YouTube video in history.
Billboard reports the Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber mega-hit, with an 3,022,873,261 views (as of 4:20 PM Eastern on Saturday) has surpassed Wiz Khalifa‘s and Charlie Puth’s measly 2.9 billion views for “See You Again” and put PSY’s long-time record-holder “Gangnam Style” in third place.
“Despacito” has staying power apart from the video, completely owning Billboard‘s Hot 100 for months, but let’s be real: part of the appeal in the video has to be the seriously stunning Ms. Rivera.
