The stunning Parisian received the world’s highest pageantry honors last night, with competitors Miss Haiti Raquel Pelissier and Miss Colombia Andrea Tovar taking the contest’s first and second runner-up positions, respectively.

Mittenaire, a 24-year-old dentistry student from Northern France, plans to use her new Miss Universe status to campaign for dental and oral hygiene on a global scale.

We aren’t sure exactly sure of the judge’s criteria, but given Mittenaire’s alluring eyes and all-around gorgeous looks, we think she makes a wonderful successor to past Miss Universe winners.
