Watch Sarah Michelle Gellar Play ‘F**k, Marry, Kill’ With Her ‘Buffy’ Co-Stars
Poor Xander…
Aside from the hassle of making it to cheer practice after a long night of killing demons, the main tension of the cult TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer was its unending love quadrangle—between Buffy and her three suitors: hunky vampires Angel and Spike and lame good-guy Xander.
On a recent taping of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Chosen One herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, fielded a question many Buffy superfans have surely asked her before.
Between Angel, Spike and Xander, who would she fuck, marry and kill?
Her answer was to be expected. She would “shag” the brooding, platinum-haired British vampire Spike and marry the gentle-yet-tortured Angel. She refused to say she’d kill Xander, but c’mon… she definitely wanted to.

Alas, that’s probably the last we’re going to hear of their love quadrangle. In an interview with The Huffington Post, the former Maxim cover star said a reboot series is unlikely. What’s more, she’s rooting against the prospect, saying bringing the 20-year-old series back from the dead would just disappoint fans.
“[Fans] want it until they see it and don’t like it, and then they’re like, ‘Why did you do that?! You ruined my favorite show!’ And then it all comes back down on you,” Gellar said.
“I also think that you can’t please everyone and we had seven amazing seasons,” Gellar added. “And it still lives on in fan fiction and comic books and graphic novels, and I think that’s really cool that it can live on in that immortal way. Because James [Marsters], David [Boreanaz], myself ― none of us are immortal.”
Notice how she didn’t mention Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander?
