Supermodel Karlie Kloss is Launching a Scholarship to Help Teen Girls Learn to Code
#KodeWithKarlie is the model’s latest social entrepreneurship project.
Supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss is quite the philanthropist: She created cookies with Momofuku Milk Bar to benefit FEED and designed sunglasses with Warby Parker for Edible Schoolyard NYC. Her latest project is #KodeWithKarlie, a coding scholarship in collaboration with the Flatiron School.
The model announced the scholarship on her Instagram yesterday:

The 20 recipients of #KodeWithKarlie will receive free tuition to Flatiron Pre-College Academy’s Introduction to Software Engineering course, where they’ll learn how to build an app.
“I think its crucial that young women learn to code as early as possible to ensure that we have a voice and a stake in what the world looks like,” says Kloss. Hear, hear.
