What a Beautiful Girl Wants: Hunter McGrady

Worst pickup line? “I’m not staring at your boobs, I’m staring at your heart.”

Recently, Hunter McGrady hit the modeling equivalent of winning the lottery—making the 2017 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. (Hey, it’s almost as prestigious as gracing the pages of Maxim.) 

The plus-sized stunner is officially the curviest model the annual bikini bible has ever featured, meaning McGrady also managed to make some history while she was at it.

But McGrady was on our radar long before that. Originally from Southern California, McGrady, whose mother was also a model, signed with the prestigious Wilhelmina agency in Los Angeles. 

Her first big break was shooting with James Macari, whose iconic photographs have appeared in Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, V and, yes, even Sports Illustrated. Check out some of McGrady’s hottest photos in the gallery here. 

“It really catapulted me to do some incredible jobs,” McGrady tells Maxim.

Respect. Open my doors!

What’s the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard?
“I’m not staring at your boobs, I’m staring at your heart.” Yikes.

Sad. How do you let a man know you’re interested?
I tell him straight up! There’s no wasting time with me… I love to flirt!

We like your style. What’s your ideal date?
A fabulous dinner and a rooftop somewhere. Or a helicopter ride. I mean whatever is easier…

So casual. What about a man turns you on the most?
Humor. It’s so important. This world is far too crazy to take so seriously.

When do you feel sexiest?
When I first wake up! Hair is all messy, might have a little mascara under my eyes. Rawr!

What’s your favorite thing to do in the bedroom?
Dress up! I have a great lingerie collection.

What should a man never do in the bedroom?
Calling someone by another name! Get it together.

We’d never. What’s your guiltiest pleasure?
Watching Sex and the City. Those girls are so rad!
