What a Beautiful Girl Wants: Nadia Mejia

There’s a lot more to Nadia Mejia than her jaw-dropping looks. 

The Diamond Bar, California-raised stunner starred in her first national modeling campaign when she was just 17 after being scouted at the U.S. Open of Surfing. Three years later, she was crowned Miss California USA 2016 and ascended to the top 5 in Miss USA 2016. 

Mejia’s pageantry success led to more modeling opportunities with fashion brands  Skechers and Guess, the latter of which she describes as her “dream brand.”

But what makes Mejia a true multihyphenate is that she’s also an up-and-coming musician. She undoubtedly inherited a voice from her father, “Rico Suave” singer Gerardo Mejia.

What’s the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard?

I’ve heard so many bad lines, I can’t pinpoint just one. But I do have so many men who follow me that have a foot fetish. They don’t ask for nudes. They ask for pictures of my long toes.

Yikes. How do you let a man know you’re interested?

It is extremely obvious whether or not I’m into you. I just get my flirt on—a little arm touching and smirks are my give away.

Good to know. What’s your ideal date?

Well, since fall is just around the corner, I would love to go on a beautiful evening hike and have a picnic with some pumpkin flavored goodies, good music and cuddling.

How festive! What about a man turns you on the most?

HUMILITY! I love a man whose career success doesn’t define him as a person. So many people in LA have the tendency to brag, and it’s my biggest pet peeve.

When do you feel sexiest?

I feel sexiest when I’m focusing my energy on my career and my health and seeing all of my hard work pay off. And lipstick… lipstick always makes me feel sexy.

How do you snap the perfect selfie?

It’s all about lighting and angles. Window light is the go to. A little cleavage and pouty lips with a slight eyebrow raise are usually my photos with the most likes. But don’t show too much cleavage! Then it becomes trashy over sassy.

My dad’s very active on social media. He’s probably reading this. I guess my husband will have to find out (I know my pops is proud of this answer.)
