World’s Sexiest Weather Girl Responds After Ex Breaks Up With Her to Play ‘Call of Duty’
Yanet Garcia was totally blindsided.
Less than a week has past since news of the breakup between Yanet Garcia, aka the world’s sexiest weather girl, and Douglas Martin, a Call of Duty-loving pro gamer, went viral.
Now Maxim Mexico’s July cover model has finally opened up about the “difficult days” that followed the surprise split on Hoy, a Mexican television program she hosts.

Garcia said the two had “a beautiful relationship” and she “did not expect” Martin to dump her to spend more time gaming competitively.
“I actually do not judge him. On the contrary, I wish him all the success. I hope that he wins that championship and it gives him all that he wants,” she said.
“We were a couple working in social media, and he had commitments with his followers while I have my job and projects,” the model continued.
“So, I am relaxed, at peace, I keep what was good about the relationship in my heart. We were in a long distance relationship, it was very difficult,” she added.

When asked about the prospect of rekindling their romance, Garcia said, “I do not think so. I trust God, he has something else for me.”
The “heartbroken” model and news anchor previously posted a subtweet—presumably directed at Martin—that reads, “Never listen to the advice of a person who has not done anything good with his life,” when translated from Spanish.

Martin explained his decision to end the couple’s three-year relationship in a 10-minute video posted to his YouTube account, “FaZe Censor.”
“I’m playing Call of Duty full-time now. I’m literally sitting here every single night from 7 p.m…. sometimes until 5 a.m…. playing Call of Duty,” he said.
“What I want in my life at this very moment is to compete in Call of Duty because I love it so much.”There’s only 24 hours in a day and I just didn’t have enough time to do what I needed to do.”
