It's Thanksgiving. What's one thing you may have forgotten to add to your table this year?
Yeah, cherries. And also whiskey. Introducing, The Cherry Gobbler.

1.75 oz Wild Turkey 81
.75 oz cherry cinnamon syrup*
.75 oz lemon juice
.25 oz Galliano
Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry and a sprinkle of cinnamon dust.
*Cherry-cinnamon syrup: In a saucepan, combine 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, and 6 cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved and remove from heat. Let steep for 20 minutes and remove cinnamon. Add 15 pitted cherries, blend in a blender, fine strain and store.
