It seems the entire damn Internet is in a tizzy over the selection of Family Guy/American Dad/The Cleveland Show creator Seth MacFarlane as the host of the 2013 Academy Awards. Sure, he made a couple off-color jokes during yesterday morning’s announcement of the nominees, but isn’t that better than previous host Billy Crystal’s lame and dated schtick? Here’s why, based on promos for the ceremony that were just released, we think Seth’s gonna do a kick-ass job on February 24th.
