The New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Is Everything We Hoped and Dreamed For

The Force is strong with this one.

The official Star Wars Twitter account spent all day Monday dropping little tiny The Force Awakens teasers to build hype for the third full-length trailer dropping during Monday Night Football. If there’s one thing I’ve learned waiting for this trailer to drop, it’s that the relentless Disney hype machine seems to be working overtime, since ticket sales for the U.S. theatrical release in December have already broken both records and websites since they became available.


But you know what? That’s totally OK with me. My anxieties over the dramatic butchering of yet another Star Wars film. The trailer is visually beautiful and thrilling, and I haven’t felt anticipation for a film like this, well, ever. I’m not sure even Jar-Jar could ruin this.
