Australian wine brand Yellow Tail are dropping an extremely rare Super Bowl wine commercial–and they’ve enlisted the help of three-time Maxim Australia cover model Ellie Gonsalves to do it.

The gorgeous Gonsalves adds just the right amount of sex appeal to the 30-second ad, which features the born-and-bred Aussie casually petting the Yellow Tail spokesman’s sunglasses-wearing kangaroo.
The commercial, which will be seen by an estimated 100 million NFL fans, is said to the be the first wine ad to advertise on the Super Bowl in 40 years, reports the New York Post.
We chatted with the Guess model about her new commercial, who she’s rooting for in the Big Game (brace yourself Falcons fans), and how she built such a massive Instagram following.
How does it feel to appear in the first Super Bowl Wine Commercial in 40 years?
It feels pretty unbelievable, it still hasn’t sunk in yet. I come from Brisbane, Australia. So it’s a really huge deal for an Aussie girl to be in a Super Bowl commercial for starters. Especially since it’s the first wine commercial to actually air in 40 years that’s going to be seen by 85 plus million people. So I feel incredibly honored to be representing Australia through Yellow Tail and also representing the true sense of humor us Aussies have. We’re super laid back.
What kind of wine to do you like to drink the most?
Well, as I work out regularly, I feel that allows me to indulge in the sweet things in life, so a treat night or two a week (pancakes, donuts, French toast, a cocktail, wine etc.. I could go on and on) is just what the doctor ordered. When it comes to wine, I normally go for a Sauvignon Blanc or Moscato.

Who are you rooting for in the Super Bowl?
I am rooting for the Patriots and you’ll see if you follow me on social media – I’m not quiet about it haha! Great team, great community of players and coaches and obviously an extremely impressive track record. They’re an awesome team, BUT let’s be honest, I am a Brady girl.. But not for the reason you may think. I’m more so ‘team Gisele’ and Brady is also team Gisele too, so, it’s a double win… right? We can do no wrong.

You have more than 1.6 million Instagram followers. How’d you build such a huge following?
There isn’t really a guide on what to do and what not to do, but I feel like being me and sharing who I am has resonated with a lot of people.. being open, showing where I have come from, sharing my highs and my lows and taking people on the journey I am on is something really awesome I get to do. I feel like when you follow me on social media, you’re a part of my life. I feel so grateful and humbled that millions of people are on this journey, support me and give me so much love.

What’s next for you?
I do have a big movie on the cards that I just locked in. It’s being written and directed by someone I have always wanted to work with who is one half of the team that I believe wrote the best comedy series of all time (The UK Office). I can’t share TOO much more right now, but it will be announced very soon and will hopefully rock everyone’s world.
