Ryan Reynolds Is a Vigilante Billionaire in First Trailer For Michael Bay’s ‘6 Underground’

“What if I told you I know what happens when you die?”

Ryan Reynolds is a seriously badass billionaire in the new trailer for the Netflix thriller 6 Underground, which promises “Ryan Reynolds, Michael Bay and a metric fuck-load of dynamite.“

The movie stars Reynolds, Melanie Laurent, Dave Franco, Ben Hardy, Adria Arjona, and Corey Hawkins, as six elite operatives referenced in the title. 

The six are all billionaires who faked their own deaths—hence the line, “What if I told you I know what happens when you die?”—in order to work as they see fit, and have now joined forces to save the world from crime and “take out some truly evil people,” as they say in the trailer.

Michael Bay of the Transformers series is making his Netflix debut as the director, so the film obviously contains lots of explosions, action, special effects, and gun battles. And with Netflix’s $125 million budget behind it, the effects are just as epic as you’d expect.

6 Underground starts streaming on Netflix on December 13.
