In the summer of 1994, a terrible kids movie called Angels in the Outfield hit theaters and impressed absolutely no one over the age of 12. But two decades years later, the pre-teens who loved Christopher Lloyd’s celestial shenanigans and Joseph Gordon Levitt’s doe-eyed innocence are the twenty-somethings running internet content mills like CollegeHumor. And so now we have this, a pitch perfect parody of ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary series that re-tells the unlikely story of the 1994 California Angels.
Fingers crossed they do Major League next.
