Dennis Rodman Still In North Korea: World Somehow Not Ended

Come on, like you don’t want to know what he’s up to over there.

We told you a couple days back that Dennis Rodman was heading to North Korea as a sort of basketball/insanity envoy to the impoverished, dictator-ruled country. And it seems that, although relations between North Korea and the United States are less “warm” and more a “hilarious pseudo Cold War if the Cold War was fought between the United States and a kindergarten class for malnourished students,” both countries can agree on one thing: basketball is awesome.

That’s right: Accompanied by three of the Harlem Globe Trotters, Rodman sat down to watch a basketball game with the North Korean dictator himself, Kim Jon Un. And according to the North Korean news service, Rodman really enjoyed himself! Even going so far as to say after the game, “Although relations between the two countries are regrettable, personally I am a friend of Marshal Kim Jong Un and the DPRK people.” Which totally sounds like the Dennis Rodman we know. If this trip gets any more hilarious, we’ll be sure to update you. Unless, of course, Rodman manages to instigate a thermonuclear exchange, in which case we will be hiding in our panic room (also known as the half bathroom in our unfinished basement).
