The Brazilian bombshell's namesake photo book, Gisele Bundchen, initially offered as a $1,000 limited-edition curiosity that quickly sold out of its 900-copy run, has been resurrected as a considerably more wallet-friendly "popular edition" priced at $69.99, all proceeds of which go to charity.
Published by Taschen, the lavishly curated tribute features more than 300 images captured by top photographers, from Gisele’s nude cover portrait by Irving Penn to iconic snaps by Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh, David LaChapelle and Juergen Teller.
The 536-page tome celebrates Bundchen's historic 20-year-run as a catwalk queen who was famously dubbed "The Body" during her whirlwind ascendence thanks to her glorious curves and bronzed athleticism. The world's highest-paid model has since appeared on more than 1,000 magazine covers around the world and strutted in more than 450 fashion shows—maybe it's about time she landed on your coffee table?
Just a thought.
