Kim Kardashian just revealed that she's studying to become a lawyer, because there really isn't anything she can't do.
She revealed in her new Vogue cover story that she began a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco last year and plans to take the California bar exam in 2022. If she passes, she becomes an actual lawyer.
Again, Kim Kardashian, reality TV star and Kanye's wife, is (maybe) going to be a lawyer.
You might be wondering how this is possible, considering she doesn't even have a bachelor's degree.
Apparently, four states in the U.S., including California, don't require law school in order to take the bar, and it's sufficient for someone to apprentice with a practicing lawyer or judge, called "reading the law" -- which is the way people became lawyers before law schools existed.
The apprenticeship involves 18 hours of supervised study per week as well as shadowing two mentor lawyers.
Somehow, this is all a breeze to Kim. “To me, torts is the most confusing, contracts the most boring, and crim law I can do in my sleep," she told Vogue. "Took my first test, I got a 100. Super easy for me. The reading is what really gets me. It’s so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds.”
Good for you, Kim. Good for you.
