Watch Sandra Bullock Plot an Epic Jewel Heist in ‘Ocean’s 8’ Trailer

Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett and more co-star in the female-centric sequel.

The first official trailer is here for Ocean’s 8, the all-female sequel to  the previous three Oceans heist comedies helmed by George Clooney and the gang. 

This time Sandra Bullock takes the lead as as Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister of Clooney’s Danny Ocean. The trailer opens with Bullock in an orange prison jumpsuit at a parole hearing promising to pursue “the simple life” if she’s released. Don’t bet on it, people. 

We see her next meeting her fellow thieves–including Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, and Mindy Kaling– to plot a $150 million jewel heist at New York’s glitzy annual Met Gala. 

“Why do you have to do this?” Blanchett’s character asks Bullock’s Ocean. “Because it’s what I’m good at,” Ocean responds. Awww, shit, it’s sooooo on!

The lady-centric sequel features a boatload cameos including Dakota Fanning, Matt Damon, Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian West, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Olivia Munn, Katie Holmes, Zayn Malik, Zac Posen, Adriana Lima and Serena Williams.
