Our First Look at the New Bond Women of Spectre
Good things always come in twos.
Following the release of the new Spectre trailer only a few weeks back, we’ve now been given a behind-the-scenes look at the, dare I say it, hottest Bond women to grace the franchise in a long time. Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux, both labeled as ‘women’ instead of ‘girls’ this time around, are introduced via commentary about their character background, and why Sam Mendes casted these two extremely talented actresses. The Bond director wasn’t looking for newcomers, and wanted women with “life experience and maturity,” which is just a taste of what the two are bringing to the table.
In Spectre, Monica Bellucci is set to play Lucia Sciarra, a powerful and seductive woman in mourning after her infamous crime boss husband is killed, while Lea Seydoux will take on the role of Madeleine Swann, a doctor and the daughter of Bond’s former nemesis, Mr. White. Take a look at the video below and drool in anticipation of the film’s release on November 6th, 2015.
