Guy Fieri and Sammy Hagar Join Forces for New Tequila
The official tequila of #Flavortown is finally here.
Guy Fieri and Sammy Hagar want you to get your drink on with their brand new tequila.
The frosted-tipped Food Network star and permanent Mayor of Flavortown is teaming up with the hard-rocking former Van Halen frontman to produce Santo Fino Blaco.
Set to launch next month, the agave-based spirit is expertly crafted by Jan Eduardo Nunes, the same third-generation master distiller that bought Hagar’s first tequila to market under his Cabo Wabo brand a decade ago.
“Guy has always been a tequila lover and when he approached me about creating a tequila together it was perfect timing,” the “Van Hagar” singer says.
“Guy and I shook hands and a few months later we were sipping the most amazing blanco tequila we’d ever tasted.”
“There are a few things I know,” adds Fieri. “Great food, killer drinks and wild times…and Sammy and I are makin’ it all happen with Los Santo.”
According to a press release, the new expression is an “old world”-style tequila made with 100 percent Blue Weber Agave that’s hand-picked in Mexico’s Jalisco Highlands region.
It’s the second bottle under Hagar’s Los Santo booze brand, which also includes “the world’s first” tequila-mezcal blend: Santo Puro Mezquila.
Get ready to pour some Flavortown directly into your body when Santo Fino Blanco arrives this May.
