Max Holloway Shows Off Custom Dodge Charger After Defeating Conor McGregor At UFC 329
Dodge has “blessed” the UFC veteran with a murdered-out new muscle car.

Following his big win at UFC 329, Max Holloway has been bestowed with one helluva blessing: an all-black Dodge Charger. Bloody Elbow reports that the beloved former featherweight champ spent approximately $60,000 of the multimillion-dollar purse from his rematch with Conor McGregor, who suffered an accidental injury to his right knee within seconds of kicking off the headlining bout.
However, Holloway has clearly inked a partnership with the American automaker, as the car was showcased as his primary mode of transportation in an IG Reel uploaded days ahead of his welterweight bout with McGregor. Specifically, Holloway took delivery of a 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, featuring the 3.0-liter “SIXPACK” twin-turbo inline-six, producing 550-horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque.
Holloway’s acquisition of the murdered-out muscle car was shown in a YouTube video chronicling his pre-fight camp. Amazed that it was dropped off in the back of a semi-truck rather than being driven to him, Holloway said “This car is sick, bro,” before immediately making a grocery run for smoothie ingredients and other clean eats.
While the head gasket on Holloway’s new Charger is nice and tight, McGregor said his “head gasket is gone” following an incredibly disappointing return to the Octagon after a five-year hiatus. While McGregor vs. Holloway II made for the most anticipated UFC event in years, the fight never got off the ground, as McGregor took a TKO just 69 seconds into the first round after injuring his knee while throwing a jumping kick—his very first maneuver of the fight.
“My head gasket is gone. Destroyed,” McGregor posted on X. “I had no injury / injuries going into the fight,” McGregor said. “I was throwing kicks, planted and jumping, all throughout camp as well as backstage before the fight. This came out of nowhere. I am beyond dark here. I can only describe it as hell.”
McGregor’s manager, John Kavanagh, backed up the claim that the Irish fighter was completely healthy ahead of the fight. “That opening jump switch kick was drilled daily for months, multiple times in warmup. Never an issue,” Kavanagh wrote on Facebook, per ABC News. “Knee went when he (threw) the very first kick. Doesn’t get any worse than this.”
Even though kicks were apparently a part of McGregor’s fight plan, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan was among the many who were critical of what’s been characterized as a reckless move.
“He just tried a crazy move. He tried a jumping roundhouse kick,” Rogan said during the UFC broadcast after the main event ended. “… if you don’t land in a good way, with a supporting way, you put so much pressure on that knee. He landed with his knee in the worst position.”
The good news for McGregor fans is that he seems intent on returning. “Surgery. Prehab. Return to martial arts practice. Go again.” McGregor wrote on Instagram on Monday, per ESPN. “Final fight of the contract. Praise God!”
The outlet also points out that McGregor’s history of injuries includes a torn ACL he suffered in his first 2013 bout with Holloway, a partially torn ACL ahead of his interim title fight against Chad Mendes in 2015, a broken left leg during his first-round loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021 and a broken toe that forced him to withdraw from a scheduled bout against Michael Chandler in 2024.
“The talk of me being off while walking in to the fight is nonsense,” McGregor, who turns 38 today, said in another X post. “I was calm, ready, and confident. I am in shock what has taken place. I will overcome this. I will not be deterred. I will return.” It’s
