New Balance’s Coveted 1300JP Sneakers Return for 2020
You’ll have to enter a lottery before February 21 to cop of pair of these exclusive kicks.
Following a five-year dry spell, the New Balance 1300JP is back for a re-release that’s so exclusive, you can only hope to cop a pair by entering a draw.
The New Balance M1300JP Made in the USA “1300 Japan OG” builds on the inaugural New Balance 1300 flagship model that was released back in 1984 with a “best running shoe ever made” billing, Highsnobiety reports.
Since then, the sneakers get a revision every five years. The latest are handcrafted and dressed in the beloved blue-and-grey palette in Skowhegan, Maine. Horween leather updates the uppers, while the label’s soft cushioning ENCAP core keeps the rubber outsole comfy.
Other features include mesh underlays, printed branding, and a woven brand patch.
You’ll have to enter your size, shipping and payment information at endclothing.com before 1:00 p.m. EST on February 21 to enter the draw. Winners will be randomly selected, notified and charged $320 plus shipping within three hours of the lottery’s conclusion.
If your efforts don’t pan out, multiple variants of the New Balance “Made in the USS 997” are currently available from the athleticwear company’s website.
