Tag Heuer’s next-gen Connected Calibre E4 is the most technologically advanced offering from the Swiss watchmaker, so it makes perfect sense that the collaborative Porsche edition of the smartwatch takes cues from the Taycan.

The Connected Calibre E4’s larger 45mm variant is covered in references to the marque’s forward-thinking first EV, beginning with the black titanium case accented with Porsche’s distinctive frozen blue metallic shade.

The same shades highlight the Tag Heuer shield on the crown, the pushers, the stylized “Porsche” lettering at the bottom of the bezel, and the electrical circuit-inspired face—a design that will be used exclusively on this watch.

Even the strap, designed in a carbon-like weaving black calf skin with blue stitching, is meant to evoke the fine upholstery found in Taycan interiors. But what may make the techy timepiece a must-have for Porsche owners is its ability to connect with compatible models including the Panamera, 911, Cayenne and Taycan using Bluetooth 5.0 and the Wear OS My Porsche app.

Once synced to their car, the watch can adjust climate control settings, as well as display vehicle battery life, range estimation and total mileage. The Porsche connectivity features are merely an addition to the Connected Calibre E4’s digital features, which also includes a heart rate monitor, GPS, accelerometer and fitness tracking features.
