The exclusive collection, which is being launched under Vans’ premium Vault label, features three different renditions of the classic slip-on VLT LX and the Sk8-Hi Reissue VLT LX for a total of six eye-catching styles.

The first slip-on boasts cool gray uppers with butterflies and a quarter panel covered with a take on one of Hirst’s trippy spin paintings.

The second gets colored spots inspired by Hirst’s spot paintings on the right foot and the Vans’ iconic checkerboard print on the left, while the the third slip-on pair features Hirst’s menacing skull design on the uppers and blacked-out side panels.

“It’s fabulous to be collaborating with Palms and Vans on this project,” said Hirst. “I’ve always loved Vans and the artwork works brilliantly on these shoes. I can’t wait for people to see them. It’s amazing for an artist to have the sort of freedom Palms and Vans have given me.”
