Henceforth, Ke$ha Would Like To Be Known as “Kesha”

Dollar signs are overrated, y’all.

Sultry singer (and former Maxim model) Ke$ha has officially dropped the dollar sign from her name in favor of a plain, old, traditional “s.” The notoriously unpredictable (in a good way) performer – who recently completed a 60-day stint in rehab during which she asked fans to send her their teeth – announced that she will revert back to her birth name, Kesha, effective immediately, even going so far as to change her Twitter handle from @Ke$haSuxx to @KeshaRose – so you know she means business.

Here at Maxim, we wish the artist formerly known as Ke$ha the best of luck with her new name (which, again, is actually her old name), and we can’t wait to see what she’s got up her sleeve for the rest of 2014.
