Lindsay Lohan May Run for President in 2020

Kanye will have competition.

Troubled redhead Lindsay Lohan has just joined the celebrity presidential fray. In an Instagram post this Friday, Lohan announced she will likely run for President in 2020, which spells competition for previous favorite Kanye West.

While the Oval Office would be an adjustment from the red carpet, a presidential bid could be just the thing to breathe new life into Lohan’s ailing career. After indelible work in Mean Girls and Disney Channel Original Movie Get a Clue, Lohan fell a bit off the map… and then out of a few nightclubs and limousines.


Jokes aside, the forlorn child star seems resolute. She followed up her first Instagram post with another detailing an official platform: “The first thing I would like to do as president of is take care of all of the children suffering in the world.” While Lohan doesn’t really have much experience working with suffering children, she was quick to point out she’s learned from the best: “#queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country.”
