‘Bad Boys 3’ Is Totally Happening, Says Martin Lawrence

Will Smith made headlines back in February when he said that a third movie from the Bad Boys series, Bad Boys For Life, was “definitely happening.” 

And his co-star Martin Lawrence just poured some more gasoline on the Bad Boys trilogy fire with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night—albeit with a little less conviction.

“We’re looking towards maybe March, so hopefully, it may happen if we can get everybody together at the same time,” Lawrence said. “It’s just a matter of getting the script right and doing it at the right time.”

It sounds like everyone is on board, though the film’s tentative release date has now been pushed back from February 2017 to January 2018.
