There’s an entirely new way to look at denim for fall, at least if Emily Ratajkowski has anything to say about it.

The famed model, actress, author and entrepreneur is the new face of AG Jeans in a striking fall campaign that also sees the launch of the EmRata x AG Jeans Collection.

Ratajkowski is just the latest supermodel and Maxim Hot 100 star to put a new spin on denim, after Kylie Jenner graced Acne Studios’ fall 2023 campaign.

In a highly personal touch, Ratajkowski also served as creative director for the 21-piece capsule collection, which features jean jackets, line of cropped T-shirts, flared and classic denim and more.

“I’ve always been a fan of AG and was happy when they approached me about a collab that felt authentic and reflective of my personal style,” Ratajkowski said. “The pieces are wardrobe essentials that can transition from day to night seamlessly. They are crucial styling pieces that I find myself turning to again and again.”

Working with the model and activist was an easy choice for AG given Ratajkowski’s platform and insight into issues faced by women, said AG CEO Glenn MacMahon.

“Emily is an important voice for women in relation to issues ranging from body shaming on social media to empowering women to express their sexuality on their own terms,” he said. “Emily has helped create a societal shift in the narrative about how women express themselves through their appearance – what they wear and how they wear it.”

Ratajkowski took her own insights into comfort and confidence as she worked on the collection’s creative direction, AG Jeans said.

The result, the brand noted, was a collection featuring “playful sophistication” woven into “effortless, everyday styles with elevated statement pieces.”

The collection’s denim pieces are made with premium fabric sourced from Japan, while vegan leather (in the collection’s trench coat) adds an eco-conscious touch.

The campaign, which was styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and shot by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch in New York City, also highlights everything from a cropped wool blazer to pleated wool trousers.

It’s available now online at AG Jeans, along with AG Jeans retail locations and department stores ranging from Nordstrom to Shopbop, Revolve and Bloomingdales .
